Ever since she began scribbling on magazines with her mother’s lipstick as a seven-month-old, Heidi has been dedicated to creativity in all its forms.

At six years old, she was selected for the Beijing Children’s Palace Arts Training Program, where she was classically trained in fine arts. From ages 8 to 15, she competed in the National Art and Calligraphy Competition of China, and was the winner for six consecutive years.

Her artistic talents were matched by her philanthropic spirit early on. As a junior in high school, Heidi collaborated with Phoenix New Media for their 2015 live charity art auction, single-handedly raising over $43,000 for children’s cancer treatment in rural China. That same year, she published her first poetry collection, sixteen.

Equally committed to her love of writing, Heidi won the 2018 Button Poetry Short Form Contest with her poem how i became an atheist. She followed this success with the release of her second poetry collection, Turning to Wallpaper, with Central Avenue Publishing. The collection ranked #1 on Amazon in September 2021 and earned nominations for the Pushcart Prize and the Dylan Thomas Prize.

In 2020, Heidi graduated with honors from Hamilton College with a BA in Creative Writing and Fine Arts. She soon found a way to bridge her storytelling and visual art talents by launching her TikTok account, which garnered over 20 million views in its first month alone.

Known today as “The Horror Queen” by her nearly 10 million followers, Heidi has become a leading voice in the horror genre. She creates viral content for renowned entertainment brands such as Netflix, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, AMC, and 20th Century Studios.

In 2024, Heidi earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Poetry) from New York University. That same year, she became the only horror and film creator featured on The Hollywood Reporter’s Creator A-List.

Further solidifying her status as a cultural trailblazer, Heidi starred in an exclusive fashion editorial for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, photographed by celebrity photographer Reinhardt Kenneth. Inspired by Asian horror cinema, manga, and mythology, the editorial showcased her creative range and cemented her reputation as a visionary in the horror genre.
